Membership F.A.Q


A You will need:
  • Photo:
    • Recent colored photo (no more than 6 months old)
    • Allowed formats: jpeg, png, tiff, bmp
    • Photo must be above your shoulder
    • The photos below will be rejected:
      • Full Body photos
      • Photos with medals / trophy
      • Photos on the podium
      • Not wearing clothes

  • Driver's License / ID or Passport:
    • Page with your photo, name, birthdate
    • Expiration date of the document
    • Allowed formats: jpeg, png, tiff or bmp
    • You can take a picture of the document with your cellphone
  • *Exception only for Kids: (17 years or younger) who doesn't own the documents required, can upload any oficial document containing the birthdate (must contain the birthdate)
A No, if your academy is not registered you must request registration of your academy to your teacher, you can do so by clicking on the link below (an email will be sent to your teacher asking for the registration). After your teacher register the academy you can apply for membership

If you apply for membership with an academy that is not your real academy, you will be banned from becoming a member and will not be allowed to compete in our events

A If you have your Member ID you can pay the membership by clicking on the link below

Once the payment is completed, is not possible to cancel the membership or ask for a refund

A Yes, they must be at least 8 years older and accept our Terms and Conditions
A The normal membership type for kids doesn't have a membership fee but other types require payment of an annual fee
A Credit Card (Mastercard, Visa Card) or Paypal
A The most cause of payments failure are unpaid debts or lack of funds

If you have problems with a Mastercard, try using a Visa card

A No, once the payment is completed, you cannot cancel the membership or ask for a refund

Membership payments are not refundable

  • Birthdate
  • Academy
  • Email account used when you applied for membership
  • Copy of your passport

  • Member ID
  • Full Name
  • Actual Belt
  • Belt to update in your account: White, Blue, Purple etc
  • Copy (Photo, PDF or image) of the Certificate of the belt you want to update

If you don't provide ALL the information above, your request will be ignored

A The membership fee is free for 17 years old or younger
For 18 years or older, go to the Membership page and fill the fields, the membership fee will appear after the selection of your actual belt

Academy F.A.Q


A If you are the owner or person in charge of the academy, you can register your academy by clicking on the link below

If you are a student and your academy is not registered, you can request registration of your academy by clicking on the link below

A You'll need to upload a copy of your Black / Brown Certificate

If you don't have a scanner, take a photo of the certificate with your cellphone

A Send an email to membership@uaejjf.org with the following:
  • Academy ID
  • Your full name
  • The information you want to update
  • It will take aproximately 1 week to update the information

If you don't provide ALL the information above, your request will be ignored

A If you receive an email asking you to confirm a student:
  • To confirm: Click on the "Confirm Student" link on the email
  • If he/she is not your student: Click on the "Not my student" link on the email
  • If you lost the email, send an email to membership@uaejjf.org with the following information:
    • Email Subject: Student Confirmation Request
    • Academy ID. Your request will be ignored if you don't include the Academy ID
    • Your full name
    • Student info: Name, Gender, Belt
    • A statement confirming that he/she is your student

If you don't provide ALL the information above, your request will be ignored


Event F.A.Q

A No, only valid* members are able to compete in our events
Click the link below to apply for membership

* Adults must have the membership enabled: Payed the membership fee of the actual season and have no pending confirmations

A Check the event information page, if there are fees for kids then you have to pay in order to compete in the event
A On the event information page, click on the "Registration Fee Payment" button

If there is no button is because the date allowed for payments has expired

A Send an email to registrations@uaejjf.org with the following informaion: ( If you don't send all the information listed below, your request will be ignored )
  • Your Member ID
  • Name of the event
  • The division you are actually registered
  • The division you want to change to

If you don't provide ALL the information above, your request will be ignored

• All events have a maximum date allowed for registration change, your request will be ignored if you send the request after this date
• If the event is not a free event, your request will only be accepted if you have already payed the event fee
A To cancel the registration send an email to registrations@uaejjf.org with the following information ( If you don't send all the information listed below, your request will be ignored )
  • Member ID
  • Full Name
  • Name of the event
  • Write a statement saying that you want to cancel the registration

If you don't provide ALL the information above, your request will be ignored

All events have a maximum date allowed for registration change, your request to cancel the registration will be ignored if you send it after this date
We do not refund payments in case of cancelations by the athlete
A No, the registration fee is not refundable
Exemption: Athletes who are alone in their division are elligible to receive a full refund of the registration fee if they contact registrations@uaejjf.org and request to withdraw their name from the competition prior to the end of the appointed event registration check day

After the event registration check day, all requests will be ignored
A No, you must ask the travel agency or do it by yourself
A It means that you are already registered. When you register, a notification email is sent to you. If you cannot find the notification email and your name is not on the Fighter's list, please send an email to registrations@uaejjf.org with the following information:
  • Member ID
  • Full Name
  • Name of the Event
  • Division

If you don't provide ALL the information above, your request will be ignored

If there's a registration fee for the event, your name only appears on the Fighter's List after payment of the fee
